At the Search Settings  page of the preferences screen there are settings for the filter. One of that settings is the automatic update of the results. When that option is set, the filter results are automatically updated after each keystroke. When this feature is disabled, the Enter key should be pressed to update the filter results.

When entering text the AlbumPlayer will search in the following:

• Artists - matching artist, composer, conductor and orchestra collections will be shown
• Albums - matching album titles will be shown
• Songs - matching song titles will be shown

But there are more options, when "," is used as seperator the search can be followed by an artist name. So for instance entering "world, jef" search for "world" in the title with an artist name containing "jef" cangive an album result and a track result See here below.

This way it is also easy to just show all albums and songs of an artist in one view, by leaving out the text for the title. Like here below.
