The AlbumPlayer can show your total music
collection grouped in many different ways in the album grid. Most groupings
are based on attributes of albums, like artist or genre.
An exception is the custom collections grouping type which shows
collections created in the Collection
editor. You can use the custom collections to create collections with
favorite albums. Other exceptions are the all and the recently
added groupings. When all is selected, all albums are shown in on
page. When recently added is selected also one page is shown
containing only the albums that where recently added based on the period
set in the Collection Content page
of the preferences dialog. The Home
menu button shows all grouping types but
can also contain direct links to pages. To achieve this the Home
menu is configurabele, read more in Home menu configuration
.
The Sort By offers the applicable sorting types for each grouping type. The selected sorting order is also saved
per grouping type. The Back button makes a step back to the previous
page shown.
The Favorite
Albums button leads to a Custom
Collection page with a special function. In the album information pages you can
pin albums to this page. The Playlists button shows all saved
Playlists. With the Search
button it is possible to search in your collection for a specific album
or song. After selecting your prefered collection
grouping type you can start to Play your albums. Here follows the full list of possible
