At this preferences page, it is defined what the AP should do when reading
new album information from resources or when exporting album info. The read
settings apply to both situations, information is read using lookup functions
and information is read into the album editor. Read the following Attributes Specify here, which data should be read from lookup resources, like tags or
internet resources. The following info types can be selected. Overwrite existing
information Specify here, if album information fields should not be overwritten when
there is already a value in the field. The following field types can be
protected for overwriting Export album information to
Directory Automatically export info file (album.apf) and cover file to album
directory. Export cover as Use Track Numbers from Tag
info Use Track Numbers from Tag
With this setting album info is exported to the album directory
automatically. Exported album info is useful when you want to transport album
directory to other computer. It is read back when scanning for new track files.

Track
Numbers from tags can be used to order tracks initially after they are added to
a newly created album. The tracks will be stored in the database in the order as
the supplied track number. Use this option only when your tags are well defined,
otherwise default sorting order gives better results.
