Install oggenc2.exe

The AlbumPlayer has no native support for Ogg encoding but can use the oggenc2.exe command line encoder to do the encoding. To be able to use oggenc2exe it needs to be installed (copied) into the AlbumPlayer installation directory. Please follow the following steps.

  • Download oggenc2.exe from here: http://www.rarewares.org/ogg-oggenc.php Choose the "Generic" download. 
  • Save the zip file and open it.
  • Copy the oggenc2.exe included in the zip file to the AlbumPlayer installation directory. Most common location is: C:\Program Files\AlbumPlayer.

After these steps it must be possible to encode to Ogg using the AlbumPlayer.
