In this preferences pages, you can manage the picklists (Album Type,
Genre, Language and Country) shown in drop down lists the Collection Editor,
Album Editor and Artist Editor. These
picklists make it easy to select from a predefined set of choices. The picklists
can also be completely rebuild from the currently available items in the album
and artist database. .. Picklist In the picklist all items are shown in the order as they also appear in the
drop down lists in the editors. Up Down Add Delete Sort Rebuild Use the Picklist order when sorting albums on Album
Type
Moves the selected item up in the
list
Moves the selected item down
in the list
Adds an item at the bottom of the
list
Deletes the selected item from
the list
Sorts all items in the list in
alphabetical order
Rebuilds the complete list
from the available items in the album (track) and artist database.
This option is only applicable for the Album Type picklist.
It makes the albums sorted or grouped in the order of the picklist. This is
useful when in album are shown per Artist and grouped on Album Type. Then the
groups can be forced to be shown on order of importance. So for instance
first Studio then Live and after that, Bootleg.
