In this preferences page you can do general settings for the
AlbumPlayer. General Start in Full Screen Mode. Hide Cursor at Startup. Hide from Task Bar Hide from Task Bar when Minimized Hide (help)
Hints
The
AlbumPlayer main window is set to Full Screen at startup.
Hides the
cursor immediatly after AlbumPlayer startup. To make the cursor visible again, a
hotkey should be used which is defined in Key assignment navigation.
The AlbumPlayer is
always hidden from the task bar.
The
AlbumPlayer is hidden from the task bar only when the AlbumPlayer is
minimized.
Album Grid
Selection Display Time
The time a
selection mark (rectangle around cover in default skin) is still shown
after selection is changed. A value of "0" always shows the selection
mark.
Show all Menu's in Album Grid
All
menu's (except right click menu's) are shown as items in the Album Grid instead
of in a drop down menu.
Show Item Lists in Album Grid in vertical columns
(instead of horizontal)
Item lists, like menu's and artist
overview can also be presented in vertical columns using this option.
Covers are always presented horizontally in rows.
Show large artist buttons (containing artist
pictures)
Show large buttons in the Album Grid when choosing from
artist lists. Large buttons can contain artist pictures. Artist pictures should
be assigned first to the database using the Artist editor.
Group artist buttons by start letter (instead of
showing all at one page)
When this option is set, then when
choosing from the artist list, first only an overview of buttons is shown with
start letter of artist. After choosing the start letter only the
artists which start with this letter are shown. This can be
useful when using a touch screen. But when using a keyboard it is more useful to
have all artist in one overview since an artist can be easily located when
typing first letter(s) of the artist.
Now Playing Text Info
Enter format text here for the now playing track text in the main AlbumPlayer view. This text is only shown when the skin supports this, the default skin does. The following tags can be used in the format text:
Album Player Mini Window
The AlbumPlayer Mini Window can be shown in the lower right corner to show the now playing song without having to bring the AlbumPlayer in front. It also contains playing buttons when supported by the skin. Clicking the cover brings the AlbumPlayer window to the front.
Auto Show on start of song
The Mini
Window is automatically shown each time a new song starts to play.
Display Time
Defines the time in
seconds that the Mini Window remain visible. A value of "0", makes the
Mini Window always visible.
Show System Tray Icon
The Mini Window
is shown as an icon in the system tray. You can single click the icon to
show the Mini Window, unless option "Click Icon shows AP instead of Mini
Window"is set. On right mouse click, a pop-up menu is shown instead of
the Mini Window.
Click Icon shows AP instead of Mini
Window
Setting this option will change behavior for single click
on Tray Icon. When you single click the Tray Icon brings the AlbumPlayer window
to the front.
Mini Window title format
Enter
format text here for the title area in the Mini Window. Note
that Track Artist and Album are always shown already in different area of the
Mini Window. The following tags can be used in the format text:
